But then a young Paperian known as Lucia reminds everyone of the prophecy, that a yellow sponge would arrive on the island after an explosion and help out the Paperians with tasks in order to fix up the island. Meanwhile, SpongeBob is trapped on a seemingly deserted island known as "Paper Island", where he makes himself at home until the Paperians arrive, preparing to give SpongeBob the boot. Plankton declares himself victorious as he then gets to work on taking control of the now paper town. Meanwhile Plankton is still standing, while everyone else is knocked out from the huge explosion.
SpongeBob is sent high up into the air from the explosion, flying away. They try to fight Plankton, but in one point of the battle, Plankton accidentally falls backward onto one of his inventions, which makes a huge explosion and turns the entire ocean into a giant comic book made out of real paper. SpongeBob brings Patrick along for the ride, as they then go to take back the formula. Krabs sends SpongeBob to go take back the formula in order to save his business. Plankton builds a giant robot suit and takes the formula, destroying The Krusty Krab in the process. Krabs will be at the Jellyfishing Contest to sponsor The Krusty Krab there. Unfortunately, Plankton sees this as the perfect opportunity to steal the formula, since Mr. It's the 50th annual Jellyfishing Contest in Bikini Bottom, and SpongeBob and Patrick are more than ready to finally enter, since you have to be a Level 100 jellyfisher to enter, and you have to jellyfish ten times to go up a level.
